50 years old, our Akelei!

Driven by hard work Antonia and Franz Bierbauer build the "Villa Akelei" in the early fifties.
Soon they had to rethink over the original purpose of own use. Born was a cozy haven for people who already knew to appreciate the nature and the importance of family.
When Antonia and Franz were among the pioneers of tourism in Reischach, there have been created more and more of these small establishments.
Latest at the construction of the cable car in 1963, so to speak, the touristic development of the local mountain Kronplatz, now also avid skiers stopped in Reischach.
Reischach grew, companies expanded their capacities, natural growth was the logical consequence.
In the pension Akelei always coziness had priority. The decision was against the extension of the house. Manageable and personally, it should be. Yesterday, like today and tomorrow!
In the early nineties Frieda and Willi took the place of the householders. A constant striving to offer the visitor a modern but still cozy environment both led to various alterations. The last four years ago.
Thus the house shines today as it was in the middle of the village center with old freshness of the selfless call to be the traveler a friend!
